DACTYMOR FORTE from Aquarium Münster is a Cyromazine-based medicine to treat skin flukes (Gyrodactylus), branchial flukes (Dactylogyrus) and tapeworms (Cestodes).

Infected fish will display a variety of symptoms, depending on the type of parasite or worm involved. In the case of gill fluke infection, respiratory activity increases. Fish infected with tapeworms lose weight rapidly despite eating normally. Fish infected with skin flukes will try to get rid of the parasites by rubbing.

    How to use :

If ultraviolet lighting is used, it must be switched off before treatment.

Day 1: Dissolve 30 drops (1.5 ml) of MEDIMOR for every 100 l of aquarium water in the aquarium. Do not feed. Remove the filter from the aquarium and let it continue to work in a container with water in order to keep the microorganisms present in the filter. Ventilate the aquarium water well. If it is not possible to ventilate the aquarium without activating the filter, we recommend running it without the filter material, to ensure sufficient water circulation. In this case, the filtering material must be kept in a container with plenty of aquarium water.

Day 2: Dissolve 15 drops (0.75 ml) of MEDIMOR per 100 l of aquarium water in the aquarium. Do not feed.

Day 3: Do not give medications. Feed in the usual way. Change approx. 30% of the water. Put the filter back into service. If you have stored the filter material separately, you should not mix this water with the aquarium water. In this case, you should wash the filter material with warm water (do not clean it thoroughly, to preserve some of the microorganisms) and put it back in the filter.

Days 4, 5 and 6: Do not give medications. Feed in the usual way. Leave the filter running.

Day 7: Dissolve 30 drops (1.5 ml) of MEDIMOR per 100 l of aquarium water in the aquarium. Do not feed.
