    Description

Peaceful and active fish that must be kept in a school of at least 10 fish. The males perform intimidation demonstrations (deploy the fins, accentuate the colors, face to face) spectacular but harmless.

As a swimmer, he needs ample space, but he also needs abundant planting to provide hiding places, so we must choose an aquarium from 90 liters that we will plant abundantly marginally leaving a large central space for swimming. It is advisable to use a dark substrate and roots for decoration, the light should not be very intense, which can be achieved by incorporating floating plants into the aquarium. They need a good filtration because they require an excellent water quality, since a delicate fish is not recommended for beginners.
